Founded in 2015, EGM Built has been dedicated to the art and craft of fine carpentry in a true off-grid, home on wheels.
Our vision is to provide exceptional quality finishes alongside the biggest water and electrical system on a 144 and 170 wheel base AWD Mercedes Benz Sprinter, to make you feel at home, even in the most remote places.

FAQs
Do you provide the van?
Yes! We take the guess work out of #vanlife. Our pricing includes the van, parts, any customizations and the actual conversion so you can get in your van and out there faster! However, we can also build your van if you have your own or have an order with MB
Do you offer financing?
Unfortunately, we do not offer financing at this time. All payments to EGM are made via wire and / or certified check. If financing is needed, you can check with your financial institution for information on personal loans that will cover the cost of the van + build. Please get in touch with us for an official van quote
How much do your vans cost?
Currently, our vans range from $155,000 to $210,000 depending on van chassis, options and packages. Please refer to our specifications page to better understand what our full conversion package includes. Note, due to our ever changing world and supply chain issues, this price may change, at any time, without notice. Please get in touch with us for an accurate quote based on current conditions and your van needs
Do we need to plug in to shore power to charge our batteries?
No! We install a massive 645 watt solar panel + 600 ah of lithium Battleborn batteries in our vans, making it the biggest energy system on a MB 144 wheelbase. You will be truly off-grid with your new van to cook all your meals and have on demand hot water showers! And when you’re in a shady campground, you also have the shore power plug in capability as a back up.
