The Importance of a Reliable Electric System in your Van

Van life is a big deal these days. And it seems everyone is building vans. But what sets apart a rookie van builder and an experienced one? One word: POWER

By power, we mean solar power. We mean battery power!

Our vans come with 630 watts of solar power + 400 ah of lithium batteries. The biggest electrical system on a Mercedes 144 WB Sprinter. We take pride in our solar and battery system and it is what sets us apart, by far, from the competition. This massive electrical system allows you to have all the same comforts you will find at home without the need for anything else but the sun. Home away from home is the goal and feel we aim for.

Hot water is also on demand and readily available anytime you need it for hot shower or for washing dishes. Induction cooktop allows for breakfast, lunch and dinner and all of this, you guessed it, off solar power. There is no propane on board on our vans and we believe it’s what truly makes our van off grid. Being able to get in and off to a new adventure and not have to stop for a new tank of propane or to fill up gas on your generator gives van life a whole new meaning of freedom and adventure where you only have to worry about one thing: the sun and what you want to eat for dinner.

It’s very important to thoroughly ask and check the electrical components and operations of your prospected van builder. Being out on the road and having a major electrical issue is never fun. Ask your preferred van builder “what lies beneath” and make sure it aligns with your vision of vanlife.
